Copyright Policy

KidSprite respects the intellectual property rights of others. We provide a free sprite library intended to help young coders learn programming, and we take claims of copyright infringement seriously.

If you believe that any content available on this website (including but not limited to sprite images, SVG files, thumbnails, or text) infringes your copyright, please send us a takedown notice as described below.

How to File a Takedown Request

Send your notice to our designated contact: [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request".

Please include all of the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
2. The exact URL(s) on kidsprite.com containing the material you want removed.
3. Your contact information: full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
4. A statement of good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement of accuracy, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is correct and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Our Response Process

• We will acknowledge your notice within 2 business days.
• We will review valid, complete notices and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, generally within 5 business days.
• If material is removed, the corresponding page will be removed from our sitemap and search engines will be notified of the change.
• We may contact you to request additional information if your notice is incomplete.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same email address, including: identification of the removed material and its previous URL, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your signature.

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to remove content from contributors or sources that are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices.

Note on Third-Party Sources

Some free assets in our library are sourced from third-party websites that publish content claimed to be free for public use. We record the original source of each asset. If you are a rights holder of any such asset, we will promptly remove it upon receiving your valid notice.
